Wish You Were Here is a series of photographs taken across New York City. Though rooted in the city’s spaces, the work is less concerned with New York itself than with the act of inhabiting it in solitude.
Borrowing its title from Pink Floyd’s album, the series approaches longing indirectly and resemble incomplete postcards. Rather than revealing a narrative, the photographs preserve it privately, allowing absence to become the subject that unifies the series.
